whilst visiting the lake district why not consider a visit to the solway coast .silloth on solway is only about an hours drive from penrith and keswick its a small Victorian sea side town which has undergone some nice improvements due to resent lottery grant you walk on the sea front looking over to Scotland. we can recommend the chip shop opposite the golf hotel you can follow the coast road along to maryport stopping off at mawbray beach for a beach walk or stop off at allonby for a ice cream then on to maryport and visit the docks area and look at fishing boats we offer good rates for coastal tours
