Safety Features

All of our vehicles follow a strict maintenance system. They are checked daily by the driver as well as having an M.O.T every 12 months.  All vehicles are plated by the Council in order to be allowed to work for our company.

All drivers are carefully vetted and selected to ensure that our high standards are met and maintained.  They have all undergone a medical and have a current valid CRB certificate.  All our drivers and escorts have attended a training course covering basic First Aid and the transportation of vulnerable passengers, including wheelchair users. Our vehicles are correctly insured for the transportation of passengers and goods. Our company also has valid public liability insurance.

Safety is of the utmost importance to us and we consider this a priority at all times.

Safety Tips

  • Always try and pre-book your taxi if possible.
  • Wait in groups and in a well-lit area.
  • Make sure the driver has a council licence plate on the vehicle. This means that the car will be correctly insured to carry passengers.
  • Do not flag down a vehicle that is not a hackney.
  • Ask to see the drivers I.D. Badge.
  • If the vehicle has been fitted with a meter, then ensure that the driver switches this on at the start of the journey.
  • Ask for a receipt.
